Ian started wrestling in his early twenties, he competed for around 15 years then decided to take up refereeing. In 2001, Ian qualified as a UWW Level 3 official and has officiated at numerous international tournaments inc. the XXI Commonwealth Games, Gold Coast, Australia 2018.

Barry Pollin

Former Interim Chair and Operations Manager at British Wrestling; Former Chair of the Northern Ireland Wrestling Association and Director with the NI Commonwealth Games Council.
Barry started wrestling in his teenage years and after winning several Northern Ireland and Irish titles he went on to represent the country at international level. Barry was the Northern Ireland wrestling coach at the XXI Commonwealth Games, Gold Coast, Australia 2018.

With over 25 years experience in wrestling, Sue and her husband Alan founded the Welsh Wrestling Association in 2006. Sue remains passionate about the sport and works tirelessly to create a legacy for future generations. Sue is determined that Welsh Wrestling should remain a force to be reckoned with.

A former Commonwealth Games athlete who has represented Wales in Wrestling, Judo and Weightlifting in addition to 87 caps for Wales at Rugby Union (scoring a record 64 tries)
Non will be commentating for the BBC at Birmingham 2022 and is hoping to bring wrestling to a wide and varied audience
