Hard work certainly pays off and Luke LoTurco proved that by taking the Gold medal in this prestigious event held in the Castle Leisure Centre, Bury on Saturday 12th March 2022.

Welsh Wrestling is proud of the progress this young athlete is making, Sue Jones (Commonwealth Team Leader for Birmingham 2022) said, “This is an impressive result and as if we needed more evidence of Luke’s commitment to the sport, I noticed he entered the Senior Welsh Closed Championships the following day and attended our Senior Squad training in Cardiff”.
